What is MUN-Key?
MUN-Key is a next-generation, real-time digital conference management platform built specifically for Model United Nations. Designed to replace fragmented legacy tools like spreadsheets and stopwatches, MUN-Key provides a single, unified dashboard for conference execution. With features designed to give Chairs absolute control and Delegates a frictionless experience, our platform streamlines debate tracking, automates resolution formatting, and secures voting procedures—bringing enterprise-grade technology to the MUN ecosystem.
About the Developer
I am a student at KU Leuven with a background in web development and a strong interest in Model United Nations. I have chaired a few conferences in the past, though I have found that my preferred role within MUN is actually serving on the vetting committee. Alongside this, I enjoy building functional websites and digital tools, having developed several active platforms, including one that earned the APQO ACE and IQPC awards.

- Intelligent Resolution Checker: Automatically scans imported Google Docs for strict MUN formatting compliance (margins, fonts, clause punctuation).
- Google Drive QuickShare: Instantly and automatically grants targeted document edit access to your bloc members securely.
- Chair Screen Casting: Chairs can forcefully synchronize all delegate screens to a specific view (e.g., locking everyone onto the active timer).
- Advanced GSL Logic: Precision tracking of speaking times with built-in workflows for yielding to the Chair, questions, or other delegates.
- Speaking Analytics: Automatically calculates and charts exactly how much speaking time every delegate consumes over the conference.
- Real-Time Event Sync: Sub-second synchronization across all connected devices using Server-Sent Events, eliminating page reloads.
How to?
- For Chairs: Click "Host Conference" to generate a unique Session ID. Share this ID with your delegates. Use the side navigation to log motions, manage the GSL, and use the "Cast View" button to force delegate screens to follow your dashboard.
- For Delegates: Sign in with Google, click "Join Conference," and enter the Session ID provided by your Chair. Claim your country from the Roll Call list to automatically receive live timers, QuickShare access, and synchronized debate updates.
